Coop Grocery Database

Purpose

Provides functions for tracking of information related to management of store inventory.  

Information tracked includes:

• store inventory, 
• assignment of items to departments, 
• pricing history of store items
• catalog ordering information for frequently ordered items
• distributor source preference for store items
• distributor contact information, payment terms, and usual delivery/payment days
• order composition and history
• item delivery and history
• printing of price labels for in-store use

Requirements

FileMaker Pro V5 or higher. 

WinZip or similar archiving software for unloading provided archive file. .  

Setup

Place the downloaded .zip file into an appropriate location

Unload the contents of the zip file using WinZip or similar archiving software. 

Open the "main.fp5" file using FileMaker Pro V5 or higher.

Planned Development

Functions related to printing of price labels for store use are still in development.  

Design of main switchboard is planned for revision.
