Accession

Accessions represent the movement of acquired plant materials into the formal collection of the garden

These reports are accessed from the accession selection display form.

Accession Naming History Report: For each record in the current selection, displays the history of name assignments

Acquisitions

Acquistion records represent the acquistion of plant materials from a donor. Acquiring plant materials does is not synonomous with movement of plants into formal garden holdings. It is assumed that materials may be received and registered with more processing required before entry into formal garden holdings.

Donors

Donor records are used to represent those providing either plant materials or funding for plant material acquisitions

These reports are accessed from the donor selection display form.

Donor Acquisition Report: For each donor in the current selection, displays related acquisitions
Donor Acquisition Accession Report: For each donor in the current selection, displays related acquistions and accessions
Donor List Report: For each donor in the current selection, lists descriptive information such as name, address, etc

Help Message

Help Message records are used to store helpful directions within the database for ready reference

These reports are accessed from the help message selection display form.

Help Message Report: For each help message in the current selection, provides a display suitable for printing

Names

Name records represent a complete name that might used for a taxon within the garden. Components can include family, genus, species, variety, etc.

These reports are accessed from the name selection display form.

Name Accession Use Report: For names in the current selection, shows use of the name by accessions
Name Largest Specimen Report: For namess in the current selection, shows details of the largest specimen in formal garden holdings
Name Report: For names in the current selection, displayes descriptive information

Name Components

Name Components are words or phrases used as individual components of a full plant name. A name component might be defined for use as the genus, species, variety, subspecies part of a full name, etc.

These reports are accessed from the name component selection display form.

Name Component By Type Report: For name components in the current selection, displays name components sorted by type
Name Component List Report: For name components in the current selection, displays descriptive information

Specimens

Specimen records represent individual plants or clumps of plants managed as a unit within the formal garden collection

These reports are accessed from the specimen selection display form.

Specimen Accesion Acquisition Donor Report: For specimens in the current selection, displays information about the related accession and donor
Specimen Accession Origin Report: For specimens in the current selection, displays information about origin, collector, accession date and accession id
Specimen Label Report: For specimens in the current selection, displays labels suitable for printing
Specimen Last Location List Report: For specimens in the current selection, shows the last recorded location, plant count and dbh
Specimen Last Measurement Export Report: For specimens in the current selection, produces an MS-Excel spreadsheet detailing the last recorded measurement
Specimen Last Measurement Report: For specimens in the current selection, displays details of last recorded measurement in format suitable for printing
Specimen Location Measurement Date Report: Displays specimens in the current selection sorted by location and displays all recorded measurements and measurement dates
Specimen Location Survey Form Report: Displays specimens in the current selection sorted by location, together with the last recorded measurement. Formated so that printed version of report can be readily used as a field data entry form during plant surveys
Specimen Measurement Report: For specimens in the current selection, lists all recorded measurements in chronological order

Surveys

Survey records represent a systematic measurement of plants within formal garden holdings. Actions recorded for individual specimens may be linked to a specific survey record if desired
